Abstract
This study aims to determine the shooting accuracy level of soccer athletes aged 13–15 at Benteng FC Club, Ngawi Regency. The study employs a quantitative descriptive research method using a survey approach. The sample consists of 30 athletes selected via total sampling. The instrument used is the Bobby Charlton Shooting Test, with the following scoring criteria: 50 points for the bottom right and left corners, 40 points for the top right and left corners, 20 points for the top center, 10 points for the bottom center, and 0 points for shots missing the target. Each athlete performed five attempts, and the scores were summed to produce a final value. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including minimum and maximum values, mean, median, frequency distribution, and percentages. The results show a mean shooting accuracy score of 208, with a high of 240 and a low of 140. Data categorization revealed that 13 athletes (43%) fell into the high category, 8 athletes (27%) into the medium category, 5 athletes (17%) into the low category, and 4 athletes (13%) into the very low category; no athletes fell into the very high category. These results indicate that the shooting accuracy level of soccer athletes aged 13–15 at Benteng FC Club, Ngawi Regency, generally falls within the high category. Nevertheless, there are still athletes falling into the low and very low categories; therefore, a more targeted, systematic, and sustainable training program is required to improve shooting accuracy.
