Improving Speaking Skills Using the Examples Non-Examples Learning Model Assisted by Cartoon Images for Fourth Grade Students at Losari Public Elementary School, Ploso District, Jombang Regency. Keywords: speaking, methods, examples, non-examples and cartoon image media This study aims to describe (1) the application of examples non examples learning method assisted by cartoon image media can improve the speaking skills of fourth grade students of Losari State Elementary School, Ploso District, Jombang Regency and (2) the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Losari State Elementary School, Ploso District, Jombang Regency in speaking learning using examples non examples learning method assisted by cartoon image media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) the application of examples non examples learning method assisted by cartoon image media can improve the speaking skills of fourth grade students of Losari State Elementary School, Ploso District, Jombang Regency. This is evidenced by the teacher's activity during learning in cycle I meeting 1 obtained a percentage of 83.33%, then at meeting 2 increased to 91.67%. Teacher activity during learning in cycle II meeting 1 obtained a percentage of 100% and at meeting 2 obtained a percentage of 100%. Student learning activities during learning in cycle I meeting 1 obtained a percentage of 66.66%, then at meeting 2 increased to 91.67%. Student learning activities during learning in cycle II meeting 1 obtained a percentage of 91.67% and in meeting 2 obtained a percentage of 100%, and (2) the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of Losari State Elementary School, Ploso District, Jombang Regency in learning to speak using the examples non-examples learning method assisted by cartoon image media are known that the results of completeness in the pre-cycle were 20%, completeness in the example model cycle I was 58.33% and experienced an increase in cycle II of 87.5% and success had reached ≥ 85%. Completeness in the examples non-examples learning method assisted by cartoon image media cycle I was 33.33% and experienced an increase in cycle II of 83.33%.
