Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Cha-Ching program using "Buku Porang" media and to analyze the improvement in students' financial literacy within the IPAS subject for Grade IV students at SDN 02 Nambangan Kidul. The method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which encompasses the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted both quantitatively and qualitatively to determine the improvement in students' financial literacy skills following the implementation of the Cha-Ching program using "Buku Porang" media. The research results indicate that the implementation of the Cha-Ching program using "Buku Porang" media can improve students' financial literacy in a gradual and sustainable manner. During the initial observation stage, the students' average score was 69.47, with a classical mastery percentage of 36.84%. After the action was implemented in Cycle I, the average score rose to 87.37, with a classical mastery of 84.21%. Subsequently, in Cycle II, the average score increased to 91.05, with a classical mastery percentage of 89.47%. Student activity during lessons also improved, evidenced by increased student engagement in discussions, the practice of simple financial record-keeping, and the ability to distinguish between needs and wants. The N-Gain analysis results indicate an improvement from the moderate category in Cycle I (0.59) to the high category in Cycle II (0.71). Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Cha-Ching program—utilizing the *Buku Porang* (Porang Book) as a learning medium—is effective in enhancing the financial literacy of fourth-grade students at SDN 02 Nambangan Kidul. The use of concrete, contextual, and experiential learning media enables students to grasp simple financial management concepts in a more meaningful and applicable way for their daily lives.
