Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the use of the mind map method assisted by poster media can improve the ability to write experiences of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Badang 3, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency and (2) the response of fourth grade students of SD Negeri Badang 3, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency to learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by poster media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) Learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by poster media in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Badang 3, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency has increased. The results of the first cycle obtained an average of 64.5 while the second cycle obtained an average value of 79.6, and (2) Student responses in learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by poster media in fourth grade students of SD Negeri Badang 3, Ngoro District, Jombang Regency there is a change to a positive student response indicator.
