Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Chromebook assistance on students’ learning motivation and science learning outcomes of sixth grade students at SDN 03 Madiun Lor, Madiun City. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The research sample consisted of 30 sixth grade students. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment Correlation and t-test to determine the significance of the relationship between variables. The results showed that there was a significant effect of Chromebook assistance on students’ learning motivation. This was proven by the correlation coefficient value of 0.96, which was categorized as very strong, and the t-test result showed that t_count=18.14was greater than t_table=2.048at a significance level of 0.05. In addition, there was a significant effect of Chromebook assistance on students’ science learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient value of 0.90, which was categorized as very strong, and the t-test result showed that t_count=10.92was greater than t_table=2.048. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Chromebook assistance has a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation and science learning outcomes of sixth grade students at SDN 03 Madiun Lor, Madiun City. The use of Chromebooks in learning can increase student engagement, facilitate access to information, and create a more interactive and effective learning process.
