Yuli Maria. 2026. The Implementation of Biodiversity-Based Green Entrepreneurship (GEN KEHATI) in Social Studies Learning to Foster Students' Creative and Innovative Character at SMP Negeri 4 Madiun. Thesis: Magister Study Program in Social Studies Education, Graduate Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor (I): Dr. Nurhadji Nugraha, S.Pd., M.M.; Advisor (II): Dr. H. Moh. Rifai, M.Pd.I. Keywords: GEN KEHATI, Social Studies Learning, Creative Character, Innovative Character The development of the 21st century requires learning that fosters creativity, innovation, and environmental awareness. However, Social Studies learning in schools often emphasizes content mastery, limiting students' opportunities to experience contextual and meaningful learning. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the GEN KEHATI Program in Social Studies learning and its role in fostering students' creative and innovative character at SMP Negeri 4 Madiun. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving the principal, vice principal, Social Studies teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings showed that GEN KEHATI was implemented as an experiential Social Studies learning program integrating environmental education, entrepreneurship, and biodiversity as learning resources. The program was conducted through planning, production, marketing, product exhibitions, evaluation, and reflection using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model and a contextual learning approach. Students' active participation enhanced their ability to generate ideas, develop product variations, solve problems, create product innovations, and improve confidence in marketing activities. The study concludes that GEN KEHATI provides a contextual and meaningful approach to Social Studies learning that promotes students' creative and innovative character, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial spirit.
