Abstract

This study aimed to develop an animated video learning media on Cultural Diversity and Local Wisdom and to examine its feasibility as an instructional medium for fourth-grade elementary school students in Social Studies and Science (IPAS). The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted at SDN Jatirejo involving fourth-grade teachers and students as research participants. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. The results showed that the media obtained a validity score of 95% from media experts and 86% from material experts, both categorized as highly feasible. Individual trials reached 95%, small-group trials 94%, and large-group trials 94%. Teacher response was 82% and student response was 95%. The learning test results showed an average score of 85.24 during implementation. Based on these findings, the animated video media is considered highly feasible and effective for use in elementary IPAS learning.
