Abstract

The aim of this study was to development of Fitampu (Interactive Flipbook for Poetry Writing Skills) based on Heyzine using the Experiential Learning model to support the poetry writing skills of 4th grade primary school. The research design employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The study was conducted at SDN Sugihwaras 1 in Magetan Regency over a period of six months, from January to June 2026. The study involved 29 students of 4th grade. Data were collected through observation, interviews, expert validation questionnaires, user response questionnaires, and learning evaluation results. The research results showed that the Fitampu medium achieved a validation percentage of 84.7% from media experts and 98% from subject matter and language experts, categorised as highly suitable. User responses indicated a student response rate of 95% and a teacher response rate of 88.7%, categorised as very good. The learning evaluation results showed that the majority of students quiz marks were above the minimum passing mark, whilst the poetry writing activity achieved an average score of 20.5 out of a maximum of 24. These findings indicate that the Fitampu based Heyzine using the Experiential Learning is highly suitable for use and capable of supporting the poetry writing skills of 4th grade primary school.
