Abstract

This study has the following objectives: (1) To test the influence of the CTL approach on the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 02, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year; (2) To test the influence of receptive skills on the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 02, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year; (3) To test the interaction between the use of the CTL (contextual teaching learning) approach and receptive skills together in influencing the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 02, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study was conducted in Class 6 of SDN Se Cluster 2, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year, using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental research design. The data collection technique used tests and questionnaires, and the data analysis technique used two-way ANOVA statistical techniques. The results of the study concluded: (1) there is an influence of the CTL approach on the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 02, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year; (2) there is an influence of receptive skills on the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 03, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year; (3) there is an interaction between the use of the CTL (contextual teaching learning) approach and receptive skills together in influencing the ability to write non-fiction texts of class VI students in Cluster 03, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency in the 2025/2026 academic year.
