Abstract
The purposes of the study are: (1) determine the effect of digital multimodality use on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk; (2) determine the effect of the Linguistic Disadvantage Index on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk; (3) To determine the interaction between the use of digital multimodality and the Linguistic Disadvantage Index on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk. The research method used was a quasi-experimental quantitative method with a sample of 157 fifth-grade students from public elementary schools in Cluster 1, Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk. The data obtained was then analyzed using a two-way ANOVA test. Based on the data analysis, the following results were obtained: (1). There is an effect of digital multimodality use on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk, (2). There is an effect of the Linguistic Disadvantage Index on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk, and (3). There is an interaction between the use of digital multimodality and the Linguistic Disadvantage Index on the language diversity attitudes of public elementary school students in Kecamatan Ngluyu, Kabupaten Nganjuk.
