Improving Narrative Writing Skills Using Mind Mapping Media Assisted by the Canva Application and Image Media in Fourth Grade Students of Senjayan Public Elementary School, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency, Academic Year 2025/2026. Thesis. Master's Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate School, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisors: (I) Dr. V. Teguh Suharto, M.Pd.,(II) Dr. Sigit Ricahyono, S.S.M.Pd Keywords: Narrative essay, Mind Mapping Media Assisted by the Canva Application and Image Media, elementary school students, CAR This study aims to describe and explain (1) the use of mind mapping media assisted by the Canva application and image media in improving the narrative essay writing skills of fourth-grade students at Senjayan Public Elementary School, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency, and (2) the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at Senjayan Public Elementary School, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency, in the 2025/2026 academic year. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results are: (1) The use of mind mapping media assisted by the Canva application and image media increased student activity and motivation in writing essays. In Cycle I, student activity increased from 67.92% to 85.57% in Cycle II. Thus, the use of mind mapping media with the help of the Canva application and series of image media can increase student activity and motivation in learning to write narrative essays for fourth grade students of Senjayan State Elementary School, Gondang District in the 2025/2026 academic year, (2) The use of mind mapping media with the help of the Canva application and image media improves the ability to write narrative essays. The average value in the initial test was 65.59, in cycle I it increased to 70.00, and in cycle II it reached 80.00. For the classical completeness of the class in the pre-cycle it was 35.29%, it increased in cycle I to 64.70%, and 88.70% at the end of cycle II.
