Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Growth Opportunity, Net Working Capital, Leverage, and Profitability towards Cash Holdings in Healthcare Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2017–2024. The Healthcare sector was selected due to its unique characteristics, being capital-intensive and having high growth potential. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. This study employed a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the financial statements of 20 sample companies. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. Based on the analysis, it was found that Growth Opportunity has a negative and significant effect towards Cash Holdings, while Net Working Capital and Profitability have a positive and significant effect towards Cash Holdings. Meanwhile, Leverage has no effect towards Cash Holdings.
