Abstract
This research is a quantitative study aimed at determining whether or not there is an influence of gadget usage methods on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students from SDN Teguhan 02 and SDN Jiwan, Jiwan District, each consisting of 20 students. The sampling method used in this study was simple random sampling, involving fourth-grade students from both schools. The data collection technique used in this study was a test. Statistical methods with the t-test formula were used to analyze the data. The use of gadgets in learning serves as a variation in the teaching process to enhance critical thinking skills among elementary school students. Through gadget use, the learning process becomes more interactive and engaging, encouraging students to think actively, analyze information, solve problems, and develop logical thinking skills. Data were collected through tests, specifically post-tests administered to both the control and experimental classes, to determine the effect of gadget use on students’ critical thinking skills.
