Abstract

Merdeka Curriculum has focused on the Deep Learning point of view where the implementation of Project Based Learning Method becomes one of the option over the various of methods available to be implemented by the teachers. It offers more promising result toward students’ motivation and learning results because it (PJBL) can encourage students’ willingness to study more comprehensively. Students of SDN 01 Demangan (which is situated at Madiun Town) has experienced many methods along the process of study. In spite of acknowledging the satisfying result toward their final scores, it is still struggled with the motivation and learning result issues whereas based on the primary diagnostic assessment they got empiric data only 27,78 % are in skilled category and the rest (83,22%) are in less skilled category. Project Based Learning method is a constructive method to overcome the problem. This method promising the better approach toward student motivation in order to fulfill their willingness to study harder and more constructive so that their learning results gain satisfying scores for affective, cognitive and psychomotor. Using the quantitative research approach and before - after research design toward 18 of six graders, the author has succeeded to overcome the issues with data improvement as in pre – test condition, the author gained motivation score Mean 80,56, affective score Mean 81,25, cognitive score Mean 68,75 and psychomotor score Mean 47,50. In post – test condition, it gained motivation score Mean 86,32, affective score Mean 88,54, cognitive score Mean 87,73 and psychomotor score Mean 81,94.
