Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal level of job satisfaction among employees of Votel Kartika Abadi Hotel Madiun, which is presumed to be influenced by an imbalance between work and personal life, high emotional exhaustion, and work environment conditions. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance, emotional exhaustion, and work environment on employee job satisfaction at Votel Kartika Abadi Hotel Madiun. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The population of this study consists of all 69 employees of Votel Kartika Abadi Hotel Madiun, who were also used as the research sample using a saturated sampling technique. The data source used is primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires with a Likert scale. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS version 25, supported by validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of the study indicate that partially, work-life balance has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, emotional exhaustion has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on the job satisfaction of employees at Votel Kartika Abadi Hotel Madiun. Thus, it can be concluded that employee job satisfaction is influenced by work-life balance, the level of emotional exhaustion, and work environment conditions.
