Abstract

This study aimed to improve cooperation skills and Civic Education (PKn) learning outcomes of first-grade students at SDN Sidorejo 02, Wungu District, Madiun Regency through the implementation of Wordwall learning media. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) consisting of two cycles, including planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects consisted of 25 students. Data were collected through observation, tests, documentation, and field notes, and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. The initial condition indicated that students’ cooperation skills and learning outcomes were still low, with an average score of 62.4 and only 20% of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM). After implementing Wordwall through game-based collaborative learning activities, a significant improvement was observed in Cycle II, where 84% of students achieved good cooperation skills and 88% reached scores above the KKM. The results indicate that the use of Wordwall media effectively enhances student interaction, participation, and collaboration, which consequently improves Civic Education learning outcomes. Therefore, Wordwall media can serve as an alternative interactive learning medium to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.
