Keywords: Interest, Creativity, Digital Portfolio, Google Sites, Social Studies Learning The implementation of Social Studies learning that still relies on conventional methods often leads to student boredom and is less effective in developing 21st-century digital-based skills. Teacher-centered lecturing limits students’ active participation and involvement in the learning process, resulting in low levels of students’ learning interest and creativity. This study aims to: (1) analyze the improvement of learning interest among Grade VIII-F students of SMPN 12 Madiun after the implementation of digital portfolios using Google Sites in Social Studies learning; (2) analyze the improvement of students’ learning creativity after the implementation of digital portfolios using Google Sites; and (3) describe the overall improvement of students’ learning interest and creativity following the implementation of Google Sites-based digital portfolios in Social Studies learning. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) by implementing Google Sites-based digital portfolios. The research was conducted in Grade VIII-F of SMP Negeri 12 Madiun from August to December 2025 and followed four stages: (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results indicate that: (1) the implementation of Social Studies learning using digital portfolios through Google Sites improved students’ learning interest, with an average score of 60% (moderate category) in Cycle I and 80% (good category) in Cycle II; (2) students’ creativity also increased, with an average score of 51% (moderate category) in Cycle I and 82% (very good category) in Cycle II; and (3) the data from both cycles confirm that Google Sites-based digital portfolios effectively enhance students’ learning interest and creativity. The improvement of more than 10% at the end of each cycle indicates that the performance indicators of this study were successfully achieved.
