Abstract
This study aims to describe (1) the use of mind map method assisted by image media can improve the ability to write experiences of grade VI students of SDN 1 Semanding, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency and (2) the activities of grade VI students of SDN 1 Semanding, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency towards learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by image media. This study is a classroom action research with two research cycles. The results of this study are (1) learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by image media in grade VI students of SDN 1 Semanding, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency has increased. The results of cycle I obtained an average of 64.4 while in cycle II the average value obtained was 79.4, and (2) student activities in learning to write experiences using the mind map method assisted by image media in grade VI students of SDN 1 Semanding, Jenangan District, Ponorogo Regency there was a change to a positive student activity indicator.
