Abstract
Ulfatun Ni’mah. 2025. The Content of Learning Ethics in the Ta’lim Muta’allim Book and Its Implementation at the Al-Mardliyyah Demangan Islamic Boarding School, Madiun City in 2025 History Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor: Dr. Yudi Hartono, M.Pd. and Mr. Anjar Mukti Wibowo, S.Sn., M.Pd. This study aims to examine the values of ethical education in the book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim by Sheikh Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji and its implementation in the learning process at the Al-Mardliyyah Islamic Boarding School, Madiun City. This study is based on the challenges of globalization which have an impact on the decline in the moral quality of students and the weakening of the application of ethical values in modern education. In this context, the book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim has high relevance because it contains in-depth and comprehensive principles of learning ethics. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The focus of the study includes: (1) the background of the selection of the book Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim in learning yellow books at the Al-Mardliyyah Islamic Boarding School, (2) identification of the ethical values of learning in the book, and (3) implementation of these values in the daily lives of students. The research results show that Ta'lim Muta'allim serves not only as a guideline for shaping the character and morals of students, but also as a primary reference for building a moral and spiritually-based educational environment. This book was chosen because of its values, which are believed to be capable of shaping a generation that is not only intellectually intelligent but also possesses noble character and high ethics.
