Abstract
Optimal public services need to be supported by an effective and accessible satisfaction survey system. This study aims to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the service satisfaction survey system at the Madiun City Population and Civil Registration Office using the User Centered Design (UCD) approach. The UCD method is used so that the design focuses on user needs and comfort through the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This study uses a mixed approach by adding quantitative methods in the form of validity and reliability tests to measure the feasibility and consistency of the developed survey instrument. The design results show that the designed system is more responsive, easy to use, and relevant to community needs. With this approach, it is hoped that the survey system can increase community participation and become a better and more measurable medium for evaluating public services.
