Abstract

Education plays a vital role in improving the quality of human resources by developing students' knowledge, skills, and potential. The success of learning is greatly influenced by the teacher’s role in creating an environment that encourages student engagement, such as through discussions and asking questions, which positively affects comprehension and learning outcomes. Both internal and external factors influence learning achievement.This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in Class XI PKM at SMK Cendekia Kota Madiun, involving 13 students and the teacher of the cash management subject. The data analysis techniques used were tests and observation.The research results show that: 1) The use of Kahoot media in the TAI cooperative learning model effectively increased student engagement. The learning engagement of students in Class XI PKM at SMK Cendekia Kota Madiun on the petty cash material increased from an average score of 50 (moderately active) in Cycle I to 79 (active) in Cycle II. The interactive nature of Kahoot and the appropriate learning model created a fun and competitive learning atmosphere.2) Student learning outcomes also showed a significant improvement, with an 85% increase in Cycle II. The combination of Kahoot media and the TAI model helped students better understand the material through teamwork, individual learning, and engaging assessments, thereby increasing their learning motivation.
