Abstract
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by Educaplay media on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in SDN Oro-Oro Ombo. The background of this study is the low learning outcomes and interest of students in the subject of science and the use of learning methods that tend to be passive and monotonous. This study used a quasi�experimental approach with a non-equivalent control group design, involving two classes with 20 students each as the experimental and control groups. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test. The results showed that the average post�test score of the experimental group (80.89) was higher than the control group (68.79). In addition, students in the experimental group showed increased active participation, interest in learning, and critical thinking skills. Thus, the Discovery Learning model assisted by Educaplay has proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of science and science. Based on these results, it is recommended that students can be more motivated and active in participating in learning, teachers are advised to use the Discovery Learning model assisted by Educaplay to create an interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere, and for future researchers it is hoped that they can develop this research at other levels or subjects to enrich the application of innovative learning models Keywords: Discovery Learning, Educaplay, Science Learning Outcome
