Abstract

This research is motivated by the low listening skills possessed by children. The low listening ability may be due to the monotonous teaching models and media provided. Therefore, this research measures students' listening skills using the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model supported by Adobe Animate media. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model supported by Adobe Animate media on listening skills in Indonesian language subjects. This study uses a quantitative true experimental method with a posttest only control design. The subjects of the study are fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 03 Klegen, divided into two classes: class A, which is the experimental class, and class B, which is the control class. The sampling technique used is cluster sampling. The instrument used is a listening comprehension test. Data analysis was performed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing, namely the independent sample t-test. The test results indicate that there is a significant difference between the listening comprehension abilities of students using the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) model assisted by Adobe Animate media compared to those using the cooperative learning model assisted by poster media. Based on this statement, it can be concluded that the auditory intellectually repetition (AIR) model assisted by Adobe Animate media has an effect on improving students' listening skills.
