Abstract
This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fourth grade students of SDN 2 Temon through picture media. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research is a collaborative research, where the teacher acts as an observer and the researcher as the learning implementer. The subjects of this Classroom Action Research are 9 fourth grade students of SDN 2 Temon. The results of this study indicate that the use of media in the form of pictures in mathematics learning by the teacher sticking pictures on the board and then students discussing them, can improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 2 Temon. This is proven by the increase in the percentage of KKM students classically. The achievement of the average class value increased from the initial condition of 62.78 in the knowledge aspect, 59.26 in the skills aspect and 61.02 in the average value in both aspects of knowledge and skills, in the Cycle I study it increased to 70.33 in the knowledge aspect, 73.33 in the skills aspect and 71.83 in the average value in both aspects of knowledge and skills and in Cycle II it increased better to 82.78 in the knowledge aspect, 82.22 in the skills aspect and 82.50 in the average value in both aspects of knowledge and skills. The achievement of the predicate in the skills aspect also increased from the initial condition of only 18.52% who achieved good and very good predicates, increasing in Cycle I to 48.15% achieving good and very good predicates. In Cycle II it increased better to 81.48% achieving good and very good predicates.
