Eny Sukatmi. 2024. Improvement of Rhyme Writing Skills with a Make A Match Type Cooperative Model Assisted by Magic Box Media in Grade V Students of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor Ngrayun Ponorogo. Thesis. Madiun: Master of Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, PGRI Madiun University, Supervisor (I) Dr. Dwi Setiyadi, M.M., (II) Dr. Lulus Irawati, S.S., M.Pd. Keywords: Writing rhymes, Cooperative type Make a Match This research aims to improve the results of the ability to write poems and improve the quality of the learning process of writing poems using the Make a Match type Cooperative model for students of grade V of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The research was carried out in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The subjects of the study were teachers and students of grade V of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor which amounted to 34 students. Data sources come from teachers and students, archives of Indonesian daily test scores and documents related to observations, interviews, tests and documentation. Data validity using data source triangulation techniques and methods. Data analysis using interactive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the first is the result of the ability to write rhymes using a cooperative model of the Make a Match type in grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor. This is evidenced by the results in the initial condition before the action, which is 44.11% or 15 students complete with an average score of 63.44. In the first cycle, it increased to 55.88% or 19 students completed with an average score of 75.0. Cycle II increased to 100% or 34 students completed with an average score of 80.5. Second, there is an improvement in the quality of the learning process of the ability to write poems through the Make a Match type Cooperative model for grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor. The improvement in the quality of the learning process can be evidenced by the improvement of the learning process and teacher performance. The improvement in teacher performance was evident in the average score of 3.08 in the first cycle and 3.75 in the second cycle. The improvement of the learning process of writing rhymes in students is proven by the average score obtained in each cycle. In the first cycle, the average score reached 3.00 and in the second cycle, it increased to 3.60. Thus, the Make a Match type Cooperative model can improve the ability to write rhymes for grade V students of SD Negeri 1 Baosan Lor for the 2024/2025 school year.
