Abstract
Changes in the "curriculum in Indonesia have reached the independence curriculum which aims to create an advanced Indonesia that is sovereign, independent, creative, critical reasoning, faithful and devoted to God Almighty, and has noble character, mutual cooperation and global diversity through the implementation of the independent curriculum . In the independent curriculum, students are not only formed into intelligent individuals. However, they also have character in accordance with Pancasila values or what is also called the Pancasila Student Profile. The Pancasila student profile can be realized with character education. For this reason, this research aims to describe the implementation of character education through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project. The subjects in this research were fourth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ngawi. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. The data collection technique uses interactive techniques which include interviews, observation and documentation. Data was analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research illustrate that character education through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at SD Muhaamdiyah 1 Ngawi focuses on habits and projects that produce products. "In implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project, there are several stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation."
