Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning model assisted by animated video media on mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The research method used is Pre-Experimental. One-Group Pretest-Posttest research design. The research sample was fifth grade students at SDN Ngegong with a total of 31 students. Data collection instruments include mathematics learning outcome tests in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The stages of data analysis include Validation Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, and Hypothesis Test. The data obtained from the study were then processed with the help of SPSS 22. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained that Sig. (2-tailed) < (α) (0.000 < (0.05) with H1 accepted and H0 rejected, which means that there is an influence of the Project-Based Learning model with the help of animated video media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students. This finding indicates that the use of the Project-Based Learning model with animated video media is effective in improving conceptual understanding and student involvement in mathematics learning. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the Project-Based Learning model assisted by animated video media has a positive impact on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers consider using this method as an alternative to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.
