Abstract

The use of learning media is very important and should not be abandoned in learning activities. Media utilisation must be varied and diverse. The learning media used can be digital learning media or concrete media. The use of media must be adjusted to the characteristics of students and the school environment, and must pay attention to the facilities and infrastructure available at school. This learning media is needed during learning activities, because this media can help students understand the material. The use of learning media is needed especially in learning IPAS in elementary schools. IPAS is a combined subject between science and social studies in an independent curriculum, so it requires interactive learning media. IPAS learning activities require learning media, one of which is digital media, namely Google Sites with a Problem Based Learning approach. Google sites is a learning media that can be used by combining several learning media in it. The purpose of developing Google Sites learning media with a Problem Based Learning approach is to increase student participation and activeness in IPAS lessons on written and unwritten rules material. This research activity uses Research and Development research or Development Research, so that it will produce a certain product. This research uses the Dick and Carry model development paradigm, with 10 stages through observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data sources in this study are experts, teachers and fourth grade students of SDN 3 Wonodadi. The finding in this research activity is the lack of utilisation of learning media in IPAS lessons in the classroom. The results of this research activity are the development of products used in the form of google sites with a problem-based learning approach which contains 7 menus in it, namely teaching modules, teaching materials, materials, learning videos, student worksheets, evaluation questions and games.
