Abstract
This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for grade 4 students at SD Negeri Terung, Panekan District, Magetan Regency through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model based on pop-up book media. The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Data collection techniques were collected through tests and non-tests on learning outcomes, observation and interviews. Data. The research results show that the use of a PBL model based on pop-up book media significantly improves student learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student score increased compared to before implementing the model, and in the second cycle there was a further increase. In addition, the use of pop-up book media has proven to be effective in increasing students' interest and motivation to learn, as well as facilitating understanding of difficult concepts. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the application of the PBL model based on pop-up book media is an effective strategy for improving science learning outcomes for grade 4 students. This research recommends that teachers consider using pop-up book media as a tool in the learning process to create a learning atmosphere. which is more interesting and interactive.
