Abstract
This science lesson basically contains a lot of material and long explanations that must be memorized. The obstacles experienced by students are the lack of understanding of the concept of the material to be studied. Students' interest is also minimal in participating in science learning in class. The delivery of material in learning, especially the material on eating and being eaten in grade V, still uses the lecture method and rarely uses media. Teaching and learning activities use learning media that can develop in an interesting and enjoyable way in the learning process for students. There needs to be innovation to provide digital learning materials that can be accessed and used by students to complete assignments anywhere. Learning media must be prepared in a more interesting way and utilize existing technological advances such as Wordwall which offers a variety of games. Wordwall was chosen because it can be accessed for free via laptop or cellphone. The main objective of this study is to develop learning media using wordwall in science subjects. This research method is Research and Development (R&D) by applying the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The learning media testing was conducted in class V of SDN Darmorejo 01. The validity test was conducted by 3 experts, namely material experts, media experts, and language experts. The material validity test obtained a result of 93.3% with a very feasible category. The media validity test obtained a result of 90% with a very feasible category. The language validity test obtained a result of 97.7% with a very feasible category. The results of the teacher questionnaire obtained a result of 88% with a very good category. Then the average result of the 15 student questionnaire obtained a result of 90.8% with a very good category. Thus it can be concluded that the learning media using wordwall is good and feasible to be used in schools.
