Abstract
Cony Anggelia, Putri 2024. The Influence of the Project Based Learning Model on the Understanding of Science and Science Concepts for Class 5 Students at SDN Manguharjo, Manguharjo District, Madiun City, Thesis, Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun,. Supervisor (I) Vivi Rulviana S.Pd., M.Pd. (II) Sri Lestari S.Pd., M.Pd. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the project based learning model on the understanding of science and science concepts for class 5 students at SDN Manguharjo. This research uses quantitative research methods with quasi experiments. The results show a significant effect of 0.84 using the Project Based Learning model. The population in this study, the research subjects, were all 5th grade students at SDN Manguharjo, totaling 50 students consisting of 2 classes, namely 5 A and 5B. There was a significant difference in the Project Based Learning model, this was done in the results of a standard deviation value of 6.002. Meanwhile, research on understanding the concept of science and technology in the control class using the conventional model obtained a standard deviation value of 5.243. So the conclusion from the research is that there is a tcount of 2.514 > 2.010, which means that there is an influence of the Project Based Learning model on the understanding of science and science concepts for class 5 students at SDN Manguharjo, Manguharjo District, Madiun City for the 2024/2025 academic year.
