Abstract

Abstrac Elvyne Nisgita Ardelianda, 2024. Jigsaw Tegap (Teams Games Puzzle) for Improving Cognitive Learning Outcomes of High School Students in Rectilinear Motion Material Thesis. Physics Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (I) Dr. Tantri Mayasari, S.Pd., M.Pd., (II) Erawan Kurniadi, S.Sc., M.Pd. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in cognitive learning outcomes regarding straight motion material using a Rigid Jigsaw. Jigsaw Tegap is cooperative learning which is divided into home groups, expert groups and core groups.The implementation of the Jigsaw Tegap learning model uses C1-C3 cognitive aspects based on Bloom's taxonomy, with the Mix Method Embedded Experimental design research method.This research used a sample of one class of XI 9 at a State High School in Magetan Regency. The data processing used was a paired sample t-test with the aim of testing the difference in students' scores before learning and after learning Jigsaw Tegap. The average pre-test score was 42.42 in the low category, the post-test score was 73.57 in the high category. The N-Gain obtained was 0.66 in the medium category. Improving learning outcomes can be seen from the acquisition of pre-post scores that have been carried out by students. So it can be concluded that learning using a Rigid Jigsaw can improve cognitive learning outcomes regarding straight movement material seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test that students have carried out.
