Abstract
This research aims to apply the problem based learning (PBL) model with pop-up book media in the learning of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) in order to improve the learning outcomes of class IV students at SDN Ngelo 1. Problems faced by students include a lack of interest in learning. and difficulty understanding science learning material, which has an impact on difficulties in improving students' abilities. The research subjects were conducted at SDN Ngelo I, Margomulyo District, Bojonegoro Regency, starting from March to June 2024. This research used qualitative descriptive techniques or methods with the type of classroom action research (PTK) survey or classroom activity survey. The results of the research show that the application of the problem based learning model with pop-up book media improves the learning outcomes of students from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, 2 students or 33% of students completed with a mean score of 54, then for cycle II, the students' mean score increased to 85 and all students completed with a score above the KKM. The conclusion is that the application of the problem based learning model assisted by pop-up book media is effective in improving student learning outcomes and increasing insight into the science material.
