Abstract
This study is motivated by the use of learning media that is less effective and efficient. This can lead to low student learning outcomes. Therefore, to improve student learning outcomes, researchers applied Cartoon Puppet media in the learning process so that the learning process would be more interesting so that student learning outcomes would be better. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of using learning media with cartoon puppets on students' ppkn learning outcomes. This type of research uses quantitative research. The research method used in this research uses Experiment. The research design used was Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This study took 2 classes, IVA class as the experimental class and IVB as the control class with a total sample of 52 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used by researchers is a test in the form of a pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques used in this study are validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that there was an effect of using cartoon puppet learning media on student learning outcomes in Civics subjects at SDN 01 Nambangan Lor. This is based on calculations with analysis of the results of the normality test, homogeneity test and t hypothesis test, it can be concluded that the results based on SPSS 26 are known to be significant, from the test results it states that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an effect of cartoon puppet learning media on the learning outcomes of Civics of grade IV elementary school students.
