Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by traditional congklak tools on students' social skills. The type of research used is quantitative with a one group pre-test-post-test design. The population of this study were fourth-grade students of SDN 01 Demangan, Madiun City. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, so that the sample in this study was 17 fourth-grade students. The data collection technique used in this study was the Pre-test Post-test Questionnaire for social skills. The analysis technique used was statistical analysis of the T-test (T-test). The test results showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.00. based on the decision-making criteria 0.00 <0.05, then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by traditional congklak tools on the social skills of fourth-grade students.
