Abstract
ABSTRACT This research aims to find out the discipline of studying students of Class V in State SD 2 Ngrandu. The investigation is based on the violation of the discipline of learning by students during the Indonesian language learning activities. This research uses a qualitative approach of case studies with subjects, namely, students of V grade SD State 2 Ngrandu. In collecting data, researchers use methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawings. To test the validity of the data, a credibility test with triangulation method is used. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there were several violations of the discipline of study in the class V SD N 2 Ngrandu i.e. not paying attention when the lesson is going on, making a noise of quarrel, leaving the class without permission, disturbing other students and reading material while the lessons are going on. Students who repeat the same violation despite the fact that it has been confirmed. Teacher's efforts to inculcate discipline in the learning of students, among others; (1) giving equality to students, (2) enforcing the rules of class, (3) giving advice and warning to students who violate, and (4) punishing or sanctioning students who are violating. The disadvantage in instilling discipline is that students repeat the same violations. Keywords: discipline learning
