Abstract

Based on observations of class V students at SDN 02 Pandean in the independent curriculum, some students do not understand Indonesian language material, namely their lack of writing skills in determining the main idea of ​​a paragraph. The cause of this problem is the lack of variety and lack of optimal learning media in elementary schools. When learning, learning tools are used in the form of homebooks with Indonesian language learning media in the form of textbooks, digital books from teachers and PPTs, so students feel bored and need more innovative teaching media to support Indonesian language learning. So the researcher aims to develop Linktree interactive multimedia for writing skills that is feasible, practical and effective to use. This research uses a type of development research or often called R&D (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, questionnaires, documentation and tests. Data analysis techniques using a Likert scale and using SPSS 22 for Windows or the product moment correlation method. The results of the feasibility percentage of Linktree interactive multimedia from media expert validation are 85% with very valid criteria. Validation by material experts was 88.33% with very valid criteria and 96% for language experts with very valid criteria. The practicality test got a percentage of 84.5% of students with very practical criteria and 80% of teachers with practical criteria. The results of the pre-test and post-test evaluation of main idea writing skills obtained a sig (2-tailed) < α 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05 so that the product had an effect on students or it could be said that the product was effectively used. So it is concluded that the development of Linktree interactive multimedia with material for writing main ideas has the criteria of being very feasible, very practical and effective so that it can be used as an innovative learning media for class V elementary schools in the independent curriculum.
