Abstract
The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the implementation of P5 in character building through the art of Pencak Silat at SMPN 6 Madiun and (2) to analyze the results of its implementation in character building through the art of Pencak Silat at SMPN 6 Madiun. This research was conducted from June to October. The research is a qualitative descriptive study using the note-taking method. Data collection techniques in this study included observation and document analysis. The recorded data consists of assessments of students' affective aspects during their participation in P5 activities. These assessment sheets were then collected and analyzed. The results of this research are in the form of character assessment sheets that emerged during the implementation of P5. The desired dimensions in this research include global diversity, cooperation, and creativity. The character traits targeted within these dimensions include teamwork, activeness, responsibility, and self-confidence. The researcher found that the respondents mostly received a "B" rating for each character trait assessed.
