Keywords: Ability to Write NarratVe Paragraphs, Diary Media This research is motivated by the problems that often arise in teaching Indonesian in learning to write, especially the ability to write narratve paragraphs through diary media. The ability to write is a very complex language skill and requires a number of language skills and always trains us to think critically and logically. Whether or not a person's message can be understood by other people requires completeness, unity and coherence, especially coherence in poetry. This research aims to find out how to improve the ability to write Indonesian poetry using diary media using classroom action research (PTK). PTK's initial idea was that there was a problem that occurred in a class. The initial idea included an effort that could be taken to overcome the problem. By implementing PTK, a student is willing to do anything for change and improvement. PTK can also determine various things, for example teaching methods, teaching media, and appropriate teaching materials in relation to the implementation of PTK. The research design uses classroom action research methods. This method is the Kurt Lewin model of classroom action research (PTK), the steps taken in cycle I, cycle II and cycle III, while the research location is at SDN Pager, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency. This research is a homogeneous population research, there are children who are smart, average, and less, the ages tend to be the same. The results of cycle I data analysis were quite good, followed by cycle II and cycle III. Of the three cycles that have been carried out in the research, the achievements and actvity of the research objects have been satisfactory and have fulfilled the learning completeness. Students who succeeded or completed experienced an increase, the first cycle reached 69%, the second cycle reached 88% and in the third cycle it reached 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that six grade students at SDN 2 Senepo, Slahung District, Ponorogo Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year were able to improve their ability to write narratve paragraphs through diary media.
