Abstract

Impoving decription writing skills of fable story through multimedia interactive learning for of Sixth-Grade Students of Ngebel 2 Elementary School in 2024/2025 Academic Year. Tesis. Madiun: Magister Study Program in Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Graduate Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Advisor Dr. Dwi Rohman,S.S.,M.Pd., Co-Advisor Dr. Agung Nasrullah Saputro, M.Pd. Keywords: Multimedia pembelajaran interaktif, decription writing skills, fable story This research was motivated by the lack of Indonesian language learning media, and the low ability to write descriptions of fable stories. Through the development of interactive multimedia learning flipbooks and live worksheets, it is hoped that it will be able to improve the ability to write descriptions of fable stories for grade I elementary school students in learning activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of learning media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data sources include informants, events and documents. Data collection techniques in this research are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. From the validation results by material experts, validity was obtained at 94%, media experts obtained validity at 74%. The practical results by the teacher showed a score of 95%, students got a score of 98.88%. The effectiveness results obtained an average value of 75%. The results of tests carried out in both cycle I and cycle II also showed an improvement. Based on calculations obtained using the average test result formula in cycle 1 and cycle II, the average score in cycle I was 69.4, learning completeness reached 39%. Meanwhile in cycle II, the average value in cycle II was 78.8. Based on the results obtained from the Student Learning Completeness Percentage Criteria, it is in the Very Good category, with a percentage of 83.33%.
