Abstract
Zainul, (2025) Application of the Cooperative Learning Model, Group investigation Type, Assisted by Audio Visual Media to Increase Motivation and Social Sciences Learning Outcomes in Class VI Students of SD Negeri 1 Selur, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo Regency, Master of Social Sciences Education Study Program, Postgraduate Program, PGRI Madiun University. Keywords: Motivation and Learning Results, Group Investigation The background of the research is the low motivation and learning outcomes of class VI students in the science and social sciences subjects at SD Negeri 1 Selur, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo Regency, shown by the percentage of motivation and learning outcomes of 19 class VI students which is still less than 75%. This research aims to determine whether or not the group investigation type cooperative learning model can be applied with the help of audio-visual media in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of class VI students in the Social Sciences-IPS subjects at SD Negeri 1 Selur, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo Regency. This research is classroom action research which was carried out through two cycles, and each cycle consisted of 4 activity stages, namely (1) planning (2) implementation (3) observation (4) reflection. The results achieved in this research by applying the group investigation type cooperative learning model with the help of audio visual media show that before action was taken from 19 students, the percentage of students who had high learning motivation was 37% and those who had low motivation was 63%, for learning outcomes. Of the 19 students, 11 students or 58% met the completeness criteria and 8 students or 42% did not meet the completeness criteria. In cycles I and II, the percentage of success in learning motivation is 75% of the number of students who have high motivation and learning outcomes with learning completeness criteria with a minimum score of 75 with success criteria being 75% of the number of students who achieve learning completeness, in cycle I the number students who have high learning motivation are 14 or 74% and 5 students or 26% have low learning motivation, while the learning outcomes of the number of students who meet the completeness criteria are 14 or 73.68% and 5 students or 26.32% did not meet the completeness criteria. In cycle II the number of students who had high learning motivation was 17 or 89.47% and 2 students or 10.53% had low learning motivation, while the learning outcomes of the number of students who met the completion criteria were 18 or 94.74% and 1 students or 5.26% have not met the criteria for completion, this means that the application of the group investigation type cooperative learning model assisted by audio visual media is able to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in subjects IPAS-IPS.
