Abstract

At SMP Negeri 1 Wonoasri, they still apply traditional techniques in learning history, namely lectures, question and answer sessions, discussions, and assignments which tend to be boring, so that there are students who do not understand the material optimally due to the lack of use of technology in the field of education. The aim of this research is to find out how to design and create Android-based History learning media for SMPN 1 Wonoasri using the recitation method. The system development method used in making this learning media is the waterfall method. This research produces output in the form of History Learning Media Using the Android-Based Recitation Method at SMPN 1 Wonoasri. This learning media was designed and built using the Waterfall method and UML (Unified Modeling Language). UML development diagrams used include Use case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Sequence diagrams, Flowcharts, and using Adobe Animate CC to build learning media.
