Abstract
The aim of this research is to describe and analyze the application of the Group Investigation Method in improve sosial interaction skills and sosial science learning outcomes for class IV students at the Manuk Siman State Elementary School, Ponorogo. This research was carried out in class IV of SD Negeri Manuk, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) using a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used were observation, tests, documentation, interviews and field notes. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data collection uses the results of observations and tests on student learning outcomes. The results of the research showed that there was a significant increase in students' sosial interactions as shown by the percentage value in cycle 1 of 33% and in cycle 2 it increased by 75%. Meanwhile, student learning outcomes also increased, as evidenced by the completeness of student learning outcomes in working on evaluation sheets, where in cycle 1 the percentage of student learning completion reached 45,5% while in cycle 2 the increase was 91% of students who completed their studies
