Thesis. Madiun: Master of Social Sciences Education Study Program. Postgraduate Program. PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (1) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, M.Pd., M.M., (2) Dr. Ibadullah Malawi, S.Pd. M.Pd. Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL), audiovisual, learning outcomes This research aims to determine whether or not the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with audiovisual media can be applied to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of IPAS-IPS for class V students, SDN 6 Ngrayun. This research approach is a qualitative approach while the type of research used is classroom action research. The research was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The research was carried out from October 2023 to July 2024 at SDN 6 Ngrayun. The research subjects were class V students for the 2023/2024 school year with a total of 9 children. The data collection techniques used are tests and non-tests in the form of observation and documentation. The data obtained was processed using quantitative and qualitative techniques. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model with audiovisual media can improve the science and science learning outcomes of class V students at SDN 6 Ngrayun, Ngrayun District, Ponorogo
