Keywords: Social Interaction, Novel, Merdeka Curriculum This study aims to determine the social interaction in the novel Djenar: A Mother's Dignity by Al-Al Malagoar and the utilization of the novel Djenar: A Mother's Dignity by Al-Al Malagoar as an alternative learning material in high school in the Merdeka curriculum. The type and design of the research used in the study are descriptive-qualitative. The data sources for this study are the novel Djenar A Mother's Dignity (DAMD) by Al-Al Malagoar and the CP curriculum merdeka. The research data collected in this study are in the form of quotations in the form of words, sentences, or paragraphs in the novel DAMD by Al-Al Malagoar. The technique used in this study is the documentation technique. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, data analysis procedures, data interpretation, verification and drawing conclusions and drawing conclusions. The results of social interaction in the DJAMD novel are in the form of cooperation, accommodation, controversy, and conflict or conflict. Jen and Kin are social interactions in the form of cooperation, The social interaction experienced by Jen and Malam is in the form of cooperation, the social interaction of the character Jen with Kin is in the form of accommodation, the social interaction between Jen and Mrs. Tuti is in the form of accommodation, Jen and Galang are involved in social interaction in the form of controversy, Jen and Galang have met the requirements for social interaction in the form of controversy, the social interaction of controversy between Jen and Mrs. Sonya, The social interaction that occurs between Jen and Aji is in the form of controversy, the social interaction between Jen and Mami is in the form of controversy, The social interaction between Jen and Mami is in the form of controversy, the social interaction between Jen and Galang is in the form of controversy, the character Jen interacts with Mrs. Amber in the form of controversy, the conflict between Jen and Barat is one form of social interaction, the social interaction in the form of conflict between Jen and Galang, Galang and Jen experience social interaction in the form of conflict, The social interaction carried out by Jen and Mr. Galih is a conflict, the social interaction that occurs between Jen and Anye is a conflict, and the social interaction experienced by Jen, Anye and Malam is in the form of conflict. The results of this study can be used as an alternative learning material in senior high school class XII in the Independent Curriculum.
