Annas Syamsur Rosyidi. 2024. Procrastination of Santri in Memorizing the Qur'an as Seen from the Self-Efficacy and Social Support of Peers at the Modern Islamic Boarding School Mr. Bob Madiun. Thesis. Guidance and Counseling Study Program, FKIP, Universitas PGRI Madiun. Supervisor (1) Dr. Tyas Martika Anggriana, S.Psi., M.Pd. (2) Beny Dwi Pratama, S.Psi., M.Psi. Education is one effort so that generations are able to develop their abilities or creativity. Education is not only pursued in formal education such as school or college but also in Islamic boarding school education. The increasing development of the times means that the identity of Islamic boarding schools is not only devoted to gaining religious knowledge but rather produces generations who are able to have knowledge and understanding of general education and are also balanced with what they learn in Islamic boarding schools. This research aims to identify and understand the relationship between self-efficacy, social support from peers, and students' procrastination tendencies in memorizing the Al-Qur'an in Islamic boarding schools. This research is correlational research that uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto methods. The samples taken in this research were students who had entered the Tahfidz class, where their achievement of memorization targets was very minimal and were often included in the records of students who were less active in participating in Tahfidz activities. The subjects of this research were all students who had entered the tahfidz class who had passed the entrance test to the tahfidz class, totaling 80 students. The research instrument used in this research was a questionnaire made by the researcher himself. The research results show that there is a simultaneous influence of self-efficacy and peer social support on the procrastination of memorizing the Al-Quran for Islamic boarding school students at the Modern Islamic Boarding School, Mr. Bob Madiun. The results of this research are expected to provide new insights and practical recommendations for educators and Islamic boarding school managers in an effort to reduce procrastination and increasing students' achievement in memorizing the Al-Qur'an.
