Abstract

Abstract: The active learning model with mind mapping media can improve teachers' abilities in carrying out varied learning. with the help of image media it can increase student activity because students are required to come up with ideas to create their own mind maps. Mind mapping is able to hone students' brain working abilities because mind maps are full of elements of creativity. Through the application of the mind mapping learning model, students can take notes more creatively so that the material they write is automatically recorded in the student's memory. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the active learning model assisted by mind mapping media on the science learning outcomes of grade 5 elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach based on statistical information. The results of the analysis show that the active learning model variables influence the dependent variable (Y), namely Learning Outcomes. The influence of active learning on learning outcomes is 0.435 or 43.5%, which means that the independent variable (X), namely active learning, influences the dependent variable (Y), namely learning outcomes, by 43.5%. The remaining 56.5% is explained by other variables Keywords: Active Learning, Mind Mapping, Learning Outcomes Abstract: The active learning model with mind mapping media can improve teachers' abilities in carrying out varied learning. with the help of image media it can increase student activity because students are required to come up with ideas to create their own mind maps.
