Abstract
The aim of this research is to prove whether or not there is an influence of the discovery learning model with the help of gap board media to find out the learning outcomes of students. Therefore, it is necessary to use the right learning model to make students as subjects in learning and make teachers become tutors in the learning process. . Can use the discovery learning model during the learning process. When implementing the discovery learning model, it can be assisted using gap board media. The subjects in this research were class II students at SDN Bader 02 and SDN Bader 03, Dolopo sub-district. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design research type that uses a pre-test post-test control design. By using non-probability sampling techniques because the population is less than 30 students. The research instrument consisted of an experimental class and a control class consisting of a pre-test and post-test in class II mathematics subjects. The results of data analysis show that there are differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of class II students before using the discovery learning model assisted by learning media and after using it, with the average score increasing from 63.42 to 87.13. Hypothesis testing shows a p-value < 0.05, namely 0.02 < 0.05. Thus, the results of the research show that the discovery learning model assisted by learning media has an effect in improving the learning outcomes of class II students.
