Abstract

One of the problems experienced in learning science in class IV is that the learning objectives have not been achieved. This is caused by a lack of packaging in the science and science learning process using interesting learning media, resulting in students feeling bored, bored and less interested in the learning. This results in students being less motivated to enthusiastically take part in lessons which ultimately has an impact on the learning outcomes of students who have not reached the predetermined KKTP, it is 70. The formulation of the problem in this thesis is 1. Can the use of "Patara Budaya" media increase active learning about Indonesian cultural diversity among fourth grade students at SD Negeri Pacing 2 Padas District? 2. Can the use of "Patara Budaya" media improve learning outcomes about Indonesian cultural diversity for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Pacing 2 Padas District? The aim of this research is to increase student learning activity and learning outcomes in class IV science subjects at SD Negeri Pacing 2 Padas District. The data collection tools used were observation sheets to observe teacher teaching activities and observation sheets for student learning activities and written tests to determine student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn: learning using the media "Patara Budaya" can improve the learning outcomes of class IV students in the science and sciences subject at SD Negeri Pacing 2, Padas District. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of students who achieved KKTP 70 in cycle I, which was 66.67%, increasing to 83.33% in cycle II. Thus, these results have met the target set by the researchers of 70%. It is hoped that in the future the use of the learning media "Patara Budaya" can be used as a learning media in the science and science learning process at SD Negeri Pacing 2 Padas District.
