Lisa Susanti. 2024. The Influence of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model assisted by Diorama Media on Elementary School Students' Science and Technology Learning Outcomes. Thesis. Primary School Teacher Education Study Program, FKIP, PGRI Madiun University. Supervisor (I) Dr. Ivayuni Listiani, M.Pd. , (II) Rissa Prima Kurniawati, S.Pd., M.Pd. Science is a combination of Natural Sciences (IPA) and Social Sciences (IPS) which is now a new subject in the Independent Curriculum. During learning, the teacher explains the material without learning media, only referring to the student's textbook and worksheet so that students do not understand the material and are not enthusiastic about learning. Therefore, an effective and appropriate learning model is needed to improve student learning outcomes. The research aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media on the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. The research uses quantitative research with a True Experimental Design research design with a Posttest Only Control Group Design type. The research sample was class IVA, totaling 20 students, as a control class using powerpoint media and class IVB, totaling 20 students, as an experimental class, using the STAD type cooperative learning model with the help of diorama media. The technique for collecting data on learning outcomes uses test techniques (posttest). The data analysis technique uses instrument tests which include validity tests, reliability tests, distinguishing power tests, and difficulty level tests. Meanwhile, prerequisite tests include normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. Based on the research results, it is known that the STAD type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of elementary school students. This is supported by the results of the hypothesis test where tcount (4.9604) > ttable (2.0244), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by diorama media on the science learning outcomes of class IV students at MIN 16 Magetan.
